Robinhood revealed Tuesday that it’s acquiring Canadian crypto leader WonderFi for CA$250 million (around $178.56 million) in an all-cash deal.

Robinhood is making a strategic international expansion by acquiring WonderFi, a Canadian crypto platform, for $179 million, aiming to strengthen its global crypto footprint. Meanwhile, Yuga Labs is stepping back from direct stewardship of CryptoPunks by transferring its intellectual property rights to the newly formed Infinite Node Foundation to ensure long-term preservation and decentralized development. In the institutional finance space, VanEck has entered the tokenized asset race with a new fund offering exposure to U.S. Treasuries on the Ethereum network, signaling growing traditional finance interest in blockchain-based products.
