🌙 Yuga Labs and Magic Eden Unite

A new NFT marketplace to protect creator royalties is set to launch by year-end.

Crypto Roundup - Nov 5

Yuga Labs has joined forces with Magic Eden to create an NFT marketplace designed to secure creator royalties, anticipating a launch by the year's end. This venture comes amidst broader industry concerns, highlighted by the delay in the trial of Avi Eisenberg for a major Mango Markets exploit, the introduction of ProShares' short Ether futures ETF, and a minor security breach at Bitfinex. Compounding the industry's challenges, around $588,000 in Bitcoin was stolen through a fake Ledger Live app on Microsoft's App Store, raising issues of platform liability for hosting such deceptive applications. Concurrently, Aave has temporarily halted some operations on its V2 platform on Ethereum and frozen specific assets on its V3 platform due to an undisclosed issue, ensuring users that no funds are at risk and promising a detailed report post-resolution.
